LAND FOR LEASE

Connecting Tiny House Dreams with the Perfect plot of Land for LEASE

At Ruru Tiny Homes, we understand that finding the perfect spot to park your tiny home is just as important as the home itself.

That’s why we’ve created the Ruru Tiny House Landshare Program, a unique platform designed to connect landowners and ruru tiny house enthusiasts across New Zealand. Whether you're a landowner looking to lease out your space or a tiny house owner searching for the ideal location, our growing database of landshare options has you covered.

With over 100 successful matches already, we’ve seen firsthand how these connections foster strong, supportive communities and sustainable living arrangements. From lush countryside settings to urban-friendly plots, we help match your needs with the right opportunity.

Explore our current listings, discover your dream spot, and join a movement that celebrates innovation, community, and the freedom of tiny house living. Together, we make finding the right land simple and seamless.

Please note this is a service we offer to our own clients exclusively, free of extra charge.

Here’s how It works

  1. Building Our Nationwide Landowner Network:
We actively engage with communities nationwide, encouraging landowners to sign up if they have space available for lease. Our comprehensive database includes key details like what type of tiny home suits the land, available services, and any special features or restrictions.

  2. Matching Clients to Land:
When a client orders a tiny home, we tap into our network to find the ideal match in their desired location. If no immediate match is available, we launch a marketing blitz across newsletters, social media, and other channels to reach landowners in the specific area, outlining the client’s needs. Keep in mind our social channels have ten thousands of followers, and we have a large newsletter recipient list with the perfect target group receiving our call-outs - you can’t get more precisely through to the people who need to know.

  3. Client & Community Collaboration:
Our clients often rally support from their own local networks, including family and friends, to broaden the search.

Our Results: Every single client has so far secured a signed lease agreement by the time their unit was ready for delivery. Never has a unit remained in the yard without a ‘home’ to go to. Never has a client not found land to lease.

Together, we ensure that your tiny house dream has the perfect place to call home.
